Young Chef

Cooking amongst young people is a growing interest & a valuable life skill. Schools seem to agree & the RIBI Young Chef competition goes from strength to strength each year producing some superb quality cooking from young people aged 11 to 17.

Young Photographer

RIBI celebrates photography as a talent and an art form by offering thousands of young people the chance to demonstrate their photographic skills through the RIBI Young Photographer competition.

Technology Tournament

Teams of four Design and Technology students with an interest in engineering and science subjects are invited to apply to compete in a full day out of school event to devise and build a solution to an unseen technical task.

Young Musician

Music is an international language of talented young instrumentalists & vocalists in the world are here. This competition encourages talent by providing an opportunity for young people who enter, to show their musicality.

Youth Services

Every year, thousands of talented and dedicated young people, ages 12-30, have an incredible experience in a New Generations program.

As Rotaractors and Interactors, they serve in communities at home and abroad. Through Rotary Youth Exchange, they explore new cultures. And as Rotary Youth Leadership Awards participants, they learn skills that will help them succeed as future community leaders.

Watford Young Chef Competition
Watford Club held its annual Young Chef Competition on Saturday 14th November at West Herts College. Ten brilliant competitors from five local schools produced delicious meals for two costing less than £10. The winner was Jessica Perry of Watford Grammar School. The competition was judged by Russell Bateman Head Chef at Colette’s restaurant at the Grove Hotel, Chandlers Cross and Andy Wakeford of West Herts College. Andy Wakeford said ‘We were really impressed with all of the participants and the standard was higher this year than ever before’.
